Alex Gray

I'm Alex Gray, a Data Management Associate at Ventures ATL. I have done data analysis, data integration, and report development for AT&T, Home Depot, and Cox Communications. I have also done user support and administration, technology research, and process development/improvement as well as various other jobs from working on a manufacturing assembly line to rideshare driving. In my personal time, I am primarily a family caregiver. I also enjoy watching YouTube with my son, listening to music in the car, and taking walks in the woods.

I have experience in data analysis, data integration and cleanup, troubleshooting and reverse-engineering, finding novel solutions to problems, maximizing limited resources, and tailoring processes and deliverables to specific business contexts. I have developed business communication and customer service skills over many years of work. I adapt quickly to change and lead by example. I am strongly attuned to systems and dependencies and have a track record of delivering insight and context to a wide variety of situations.

I have worked on most of Ventures ATL's data management projects, often as a technical SME and/or expediter. I have developed and put in place new processes and techniques and trained fellow Ventures employees on projects. I do the bulk of Ventures' IT deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and I have augmented my prior experience by gaining experience with Salesforce and SAP and deepening my Office/Google Suite and internet research skills, as well as continued study of Python and Power BI.

I enjoy challenging projects that leverage a deep understanding of the data and its relationship to the client as a whole and of business and technology practices. I have had valuable opportunities to impart skills and knowledge and model professional behavior to the other employees at Ventures ATL. Interacting directly with some of our clients and working on a variety of projects has also been rewarding.
