John Jones

My name is John Jones, and I have been with Venture ATL since June 2022. I believe that I have become a valuable member of the Venture's team. I bring a diverse background of experience in dealing with leadership and problem resolution. I have worked with both municipal and state government agencies, as well as in private industry. This includes several years with the University of Tennessee, where I coordinated with numerous other departments and agencies in helping to assist in the day to day operations of the campus, as well as special events such as sports and music concerts.

I later spent numerous years working in Florida, where I took on various roles in both the tourism industry and in the operations of community associations. I have even worked in municipal government in Florida, helping to coordinate government and private sector operations for the safe management of both, including times of high volume with the tourist season. I like to think I have broad knowledge on the unique needs of these industries and how various government and private sector organizations coordinate and work together for the smooth flow of commerce.

I truly love working at Ventures ATL because I enjoy working with a wonderful group of neurodiverse people. I would have to say that my favorite project has been the Autism Society of America’s Vaccine Kits, where my bosses assigned me a leadership role in assembling, packing, and shipping 14,000 kits to health clinics around the country.
