Ben Keesee

My name is Benjamin Keesee. I’m diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and I work as a Data Management Associate at Ventures ATL.

Before working here, I began my career as an intern at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s IT department. After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, I spent eight months interning at Volkswagen’s Chattanooga Plant IT Department. I, then, was hired by the Porche Experience Center’s Financial Division in Atlanta. That led me to Ventures ATL, where I have made a name for myself (I always do everywhere I work, but still…), and this is where I am currently developing a career.

When I am not working on projects for my job, I like to spend my free time playing video games on the Nintendo Switch, surfing the Internet, listening to music, watching shows and movies on Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ (sometimes more than one at a time).

I like to consider my greatest strengths to be my loyalty, attention to detail, passion for work, and staying motivated. I also have this amazing talent of multitasking, which some might think of as a distraction, but I see it as a useful skill to have.

During my time at Ventures ATL, I have worked on projects with Cox, Roark, McKesson, SourceAmerica, and a few other clients. My personal favorite is the original Cox project. I’ve done so much good work on said projects that my superiors labeled me as the “anchor” for said group projects.

Over time, I have made plenty of mistakes, but Ventures ATL has created an environment for me to learn from them. Since I began working here, I have matured considerably, even though I still have my fair share of issues and anxieties that I struggle with; however, they aren’t anything I can’t handle or learn to address as time goes by.

I love working at Ventures because I have made so many new friends, and we all get to do fun stuff together (when it’s convenient for everyone, that is). Now, thanks to all my hard work, I am living in an apartment with a fellow coworker, and I hope that my future stays bright.
