Stephen Newton

My name is Stephen Newton. I’ve been an employee at Ventures ATL since early 2022. I’ve become more proficient with data management; thus, my tasks have become easier to do. My work here has also improved both my social capabilities and my confidence.

During the afternoon, after my morning shift, I enjoy a couple of hobbies. Technology has always been an interest of mine, and doing research about it is something I like to do. I also enjoy video games during my free time; it has been a pastime of mine ever since my childhood. Lastly, listening to music has been enjoyable for me for as long as I can remember.

As a Data Management Associate at Ventures ATL, I take pride in my dedication to my work. To further encourage my best effort, I like to create goals for myself if there aren’t any given to me. Working with a team or individually is something that I’m comfortable doing, and I’m even willing to take the lead in a project if necessary. Respecting my coworkers and employers is very important to me.

I’ve been tasked with multiple different projects, and I did my best on all of them. I have pulled production and loss data for Keystone Insurers, compiled business information for Cox on a spreadsheet along with my coworkers, reviewed and edited PowerPoint presentations, and assisted Autism Society of America by assembling kits. My favorite of them all would be my work for Keystone, due to it being a unique task that my employers gave and trust me to complete.

I enjoy working at Ventures ATL because it showcases my work ethic and responsibility. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and willing to lend a hand whenever help is needed. Neurodivergent employees of any spectrum should give Ventures ATL a chance.
